It should be stated that while the app won’t charge your network provider for SMS and calls, it will still make data charges. Another great thing about the app is that the video calls are high quality. Obviously, it won’t be 4K levels, but the images are clean and clear.

Comparison

As mentioned above, there are a lot of messaging apps in the market today. How does IMO compare to them? Other than the basic features like making video calls, both individually and in a group,  IMO doesn’t really stand a chance against other messaging apps. IMO’s main selling point is its high-quality audio and video, but it doesn’t have much to offer beyond that. In fact, there are even some problems that cause concern among users.

Privacy is one of those big concern in IMO, for example. IMO doesn’t have end-to-end encryption and you can’t hide when you were last seen online. It also can’t send your location to your contacts. On the other hand, the video calls are indeed really good, so if that’s a big need for you then IMO is a worthwhile download.

Good Enough Messaging App

IMO has a good video and audio call feature, but it doesn’t have anything that other messaging apps don’t already provide.
